As I write this blog I'm sitting in shock!! I went to look for my sweet innocent little Tate, he was being so quiet. When I found him he had a permanent marker and had scribbled over about 40 feet of wall. He scribbled on doors, leather couches, my vaccuum and many more areas. The scribbling was not a little here and a little there, it was covering walls. If I took pictures of every spot he marked we would have about 20 pictures to show. These pictures do not even do it justice. He is sitting in time out as we speak and I'm not sure if he will be getting out any time soon.

...look at it this way...at least he's advanced in the spelling department. He spelled "Hi" or maybe "HIT" on your couch.

Woah! Maddie's been writing on our walls, but hers is nothing like this. How much did you get off?

Holy Cow.... I can not believe Tate did that to your house. The master piece I would be the most upset about would be the painting & the couches. Wowsers he went to town!

P.S. I am glad to see you are posting again ;)

Oh my gosh! I wish I knew if anything got it off. The walls you could repaint, but that painting? Lock every pen you own up. I did learn after Peyton walked around for 5 days covered head to toe in permanent marker that baby oil gets it off of skin. Someone finally told me that after they saw her. I'm not sure about leather. Call the store you bought it from and ask.

Glad your blogging again.

Hey Carrie, nice to see you blogging again.

I am sorry that you are having to deal with that. That is so depressing! I have a dennis the menace of my own. He has drawn on my walls, doors, leather couches, himself, clothes, tables, etc. I tried using non acetone nail polish remover (there is a difference, acetone is used to take off artifical nails so imagine what it would do to your couch) and a cotton ball/q tip and it came off. My walls I used a mr. clean eraser and then the nail polish remover. clothes, forget it. his body, it washed off in about a month. the table and floor worked with nail polish remover. It worked well on my wood floors.

I hope you find something that works to remove the marker. Best wishes!
