Jett went to his follow up appt. with the doctor and we found out he needed a cast. He has been such a good sport. The hardest part of all this is that most casts can be walked on, but where he fractured it he can't put any pressure on it all. He will have it for 3 weeks and they will check his ankle. We are getting him some crutches, but are having a really hard time getting them that small. It is so sad to see him sit in a chair during recess and watch all the kids run around. His favorite thing to do at school is play at the playground. He chose a red cast, it looks so cute on him.

Poor little guy. I love the red cast though...great color choice...now he matches Iron Man. Hope he heals quickly so he can join his friends at recess...that must be torture.
i can't believe he needed a cast!... that's crazy after he ran on it that first day! poor little guy:( Hopefully he can get around okay at school and stuff. sounds like he'll just be watching baseball..that's too bad. He's a trooper.
the boys want to know exactly how he did that..they think he looks so cool in that red cast and crutches..poor guy.
